The first fabric we used had to be an America Classic. To us that means it is an America staple from the start and ages gracefully. Only second to American denim is duck canvas. This style uses cotton duck canvas from the United States. It has a plain weave and is a solid 18oz to give it good body but not feel too stiff in a jacket style. The base color is a Brown. It’s truly an America Classic.
This overall style is inspired by the classic Cossack Jacket. The style shown in the pictures is in our Regular fit but we can make in a Slim fit, It's designed to hit right below the waistline for a compact look. It has two full double welt pockets on the front.
The wooden buttons are hand carved CFDCo hardware. We lined the jacket inside with Timber Brown MV Mills 12oz duck canvas. Two adjustable side tabs on the waist band are secured by custom CFDCo hardware "D" ring solid brass buckles. And the 20oz 100% wool horse blanket insets on the front body to give it a southwestern feel.
